About Me

My photo
I am a man about the business of taking care of business, minding my own business and staying out of yours. I don't care what devices people use to separate themselves from others (religion, money, race, gender, class, intelligence etc.) at the end of the day you came from the earth and so shall you return. The only advice I have is try to live and love without fear.

Moma's place

"Boi take those shoes off in my house!" Moma's voice yelling from the kitchen, the one place you loved her to be. Moma always knew how to make things better from the kitchen. She could fill your spirit and you stomach at the same time, from the kicthen. Didn't think she hear those bad words you mumbled in your room from the kitchen, but she did. She could come with lighting speed from the kitchen. One time moma heard dad say he was leaving, so she cooked a hot meal, put his shoes by the door and handed him his coat on the way out, I bet dad regretted those words these days from the kitchen. No fuss just a brown bag with grease spots,"Have a great day huh," was moma's words standing with unfolded arm in the kitchen. Today I wonder how moma made something out of so little she had? Then I remembered she did it with love, straight from the kitchen.... The kitchen wasn't a place in a building, it was within her heart. She loved us from the one place we loved her to be.......
