About Me

My photo
I am a man about the business of taking care of business, minding my own business and staying out of yours. I don't care what devices people use to separate themselves from others (religion, money, race, gender, class, intelligence etc.) at the end of the day you came from the earth and so shall you return. The only advice I have is try to live and love without fear.

Black people don't complain.

When it comes to consumer spending we get we we give. Junk in, junk out. We don't ask enough questions about conditions, but will only settle for a decent result. We will take the product at a discount in a joyous manner but won't ask the why behind it. The only time consumers have power is before the product is purchased. Or is it really? Anytime you want a condition to change you must complain. We see this well demonstrated in other ethnicities. Black folks need to learn the art of complaining as well. We can settle in so many areas of our economic situation and be seen as complacent about it. Low jobs, low wages on the job, no jobs etc. We want to have equal pay for equal work, yet we don't talk enough about how to recieve our money's worth. Black folks are the largest of them all in the consumption department yet the smallest in the production industry. We buy everything!!!!! No doubt about it. If you look at the amount of blacks that have their foot in productions we still are behind double time if not more. All I'm saying is we have to destroy the consumer mentality and continue to find ways to become producers in a market that already take what we do and sell it back to us. Let's focus on quality not quantity. If we can give our money to just about anything else we want with no complaints and poor conditions, why can't we find a way to complain about ourselves not producing better quality products for ourselves. We can control enough resources to increase revenue if we work together. Easy to say right, actually it's not. Me typing this makes me cringe but if we can dance to the beat, why can't we create the beat for the world to dance to it and get paid in the process. Not just pennies for your junk but gold for your gold. Quality not quantity. Questions over being quiet. Complaints not complacency. I salute those who see this a problem and have created ways to help circumvent the system. We need more in the fight against copyrighting our culture and selling it as poor conditions to a poor mentality community.
